Trek ascent of the M'goun and the Happy valley of Aït Bougmez.
We enjoy a hike for 4 Days of walking which begins with the valley of Aït Bougmez, the Happy valley, passing by the sheepfolds of Azib N'Ikkis before arriving at the plateau of Tarkeddit at the foot of the M 'Goun where we meet the nomads who come from valleys in the High Atlas with their herds (goats, sheep, dromedaries). The ascent of the M'goun opens new horizons to the whole Atlas range, and to the south, towards the Dades valley, the Jebel Sargho and the Saharan expanses.

DAY 1 :
MARRAKECH -
Transfer to Azilal, the last town before taking a small road towards the deep valleys of the Central High Atlas, the valley Aït Abbas and the happy valley of Aït Bougmez by its first village Agouti we meet with the team of muleteers. Our trek to M'goun begins with the crossing of the beautiful Berber villages of the valley of Arous with a typical architecture in adobe. Overnight in the tents near the sheepfolds of Arous at 2,500 m 3 h walk. 700m of mounted.
DAY 2 :
AZIBS N'IKKIS (2300M) -
We go up the path of muleteers which brings us to the pass Au Tizi n'Oughri (3400 m). Panoramic view on the vast north slope of M'Goun, on the plateau of Tarkeddit and on the surrounding peaks. Then a 1h30 descent to our camp near the sources of the Tassaout (2900 m). In the afternoon, rest. Night in the tents The duration: 5H30 of walk. Difference in altitude: 1050m climb and 500m descent.
DAY 3 :
TRAY OF TARKEDDIT -
Wake up at 4am, departure at 5am to join the long ridge line of the Ighil M'Goun, which we will follow until the summit of M'goun (4 068m). A beautiful view of the whole of the mountains of the Central High Atlas and, in the south, on the valley of the Dades, Massif Sarhro. After descending by the path in a corridor, to reach the camp near the sheepfolds D'Oulilimt (2,700 m 8H walk, 1168 m of climb and 1368 m of descent NB: for who would not wish to climb Of the M'goun, possibility to follow the path with the muleteers Night under the tents.
DAY 4 :
ULILIMT (2600M) -
We leave this area frequented by nomads as a family with their flocks. We climb up to Col Ait Imi (2905 m), Panoramic view from Du Col, we enjoy a panoramic view of all the surrounding mountains and behind view of the Massif Mgoun, then the descent towards source Ait Imi place for lunch at After the greeting of our mule team we take the transfer to Marrakech. 6 hours of walking. 5 hours drive. 650 m of climb and 1000 m of descent.
